While 34 weeks pregnant, Julie competed in OSU Nurse's Christmas in July 5k/Toy Drive.
The race took place at the Highbanks Metro Park, Julie's favorite park. Since the largest hill in the park was part of the race, Julie could not take Breeley in her Jogging Stroller. Breeley and Ron cheered from the sidelines. Julie felt good during the race but had a much slower pace than usual (13 mile minute). She blames the hill for the prolonged time.
